The exchange students for the 2018 fall semester are studying Japanese and also taking content courses in English with Japanese students. They are enjoying their life in Japan, being supported by members of an international friendship club, the Buddy Program.
New exchange students started their study in Japan on Sept. 12. They are from South Korea, China, Taiwan, the United States, and Spain, totaling twelve students including graduate and dual degree students. The exchange students were welcomed at a party by the Japanese students, faculty, and staff of the School of International Relations.
Fourteen students from Stony Brook University, one of our partnership universities, came to our campus for the Study in Japan Program for the period of May 26 till June 24. In addition to studying in classes, the students had chances to go sightseeing, to not only in Mishima but also to Kyoto and Nara to experience Japanese culture.
Six students from Goa University of India, one of our partnership universities, came to the School of International Relations to participate in our Study in Japan Program. The students took courses such as Japanese culture, Japanese economy, Japanese language, etc. and enjoyed excursions to Hakone during the period of May 15 to June 13.
New Website in English
We have just launched our English website. It will be helpful particularly for students thinking about coming to our college and also for universities interested in sending their students to Japan.
